Important results from the project
The project´s aim and societal challenge is to be able to meet resource efficiently eligibility requirements and the need for service and security as equally as possible for both central and rural areas., based on the conditions of a small municipality conditions. The aim of the project is to produce a current- and needs analysis of the municipality´s operations, and to evaluate the various service actors and collaboration required to create good conditions for municipal activities to develop their operations using IoT and digital solutions in an effective way, has been achieved.
Expected long term effects
The project has resulted in three priority focus areas based on the needs analysis carried out for the municipal operations. Social Services Home Services. Equal conditions for central and village schools in area of education. Efficiency of rounding linked to the area of community building. All efforts have been prioritized based on the effect value of the effort for the citizen, for the municipal operations and for the upscaling effect to be able to implement the result in other municipalities.
Approach and implementation
The project´s implementation has consisted of doing analyzes within the municipal operations, through interviews and and workshops. Based on the analyzes and the mapping of the results of the operations, workshops have been conducted with the project partners, where various proposals for initiatives that can meet the needs and challenges that have arisen in the analyzes have been presented. All proposals have then been prioritized based on what effect value and effort would have for the citizen, for the municipality and the upscaling value of the initiativ.
