Important results from the project

The aim of the project is to establish an IoT hub that helps needy owners from the public sector to increase the use of IoT to solve business problems with a focus on logistics. This is done by creating: 1. A process for creating and implementing pilot projects in the needs owners´ organizations. 2. A IoT-Lab environment where solutions can be tested, developed and demonstrated. 3. A process for disseminating results and sharing experiences. At the end of the project, a hub has been established, IoT World, which contributes to sustainable societal development through increased use of IoT.

Expected long term effects

The project has carried out - 34 Workshops to spread knowledge and learning - 39 Project initiatives with 5 different need owners - 5 Project initiatives from other project partners - Generated new project applications During the project, all parties have been involved. This has resulted in strengthened competitiveness, increased use of digital technology and the application and making available of research results. It has also generated funding for new project.

Approach and implementation

The purpose for the project is to work with a number of pilot projects where IoT meets public logistics. Through the ongoing work, we have developed a hub where the parties work together in co-producing, agile and experimental processes. Through the project´s digital physical Showroom, a joint learning between the parties has been achieved. IoT Labbet has been established and contributed with a technical infrastructure and know-how. Corona pandemic has during the project meant a sharp shift from physical meetings and places to digital. Despite this, the commitment has been great.
