Important results from the project

InfraSweden has started a number of activities aimed at the program´s international environment with a focus on the EU and the Nordics. In addition to own activities, concepts have been developed to offer funding to actors who want to produce international applications or establish international cooperation that is in line with InfraSweden´s goals and have the potential to benefit the program´s agenda. The activities initiated within the framework of the project will from 2023 be included in the program´s regular activities.

Expected long term effects

Establishment of collaboration with actors and initiatives in Norway and England. EU initiatives/application together with other Swedish actors and SIPs. Dialogue has been established around TRV´s international work within EU Rail and PIARC. Planning grants and Collaboration grants will be given to actors who, through their own international activities, can benefit InfraSweden´s agenda. Presented Swedish innovations through Sweden Innovation Days. The activities that are now part of regular program work will contribute to achieving InfraSweden´s goals.

Approach and implementation

The work has been carried out with the help of resources within the program office and focus area leaders. Dialogue with other SIPs, Vinnova´s country managers and existing international networks have contributed greatly to the carrying out the project activities. The project has been conducted in such a way that the international work after the end of the project can be conducted within the framework of regular program work.
