Important results from the project
The team has successfully created an online web database with a fully functional search engine for buses and a partial one for trains. A user is now able to search a bus and/or train journey on our platform and is able to visualise, plan and purchase his/her ticket on a single ticket and transaction. This functionality will be ported over to the mobile platforms in the next phase of the project with Vinnova. The objective of Phase 1 was successful to help create the first web MVP with minival value propositions to propel the business for post Covid travels
Expected long term effects
The company has succesfully built a proprietary search engine that allows users to plan, visualise and buy a long distance sustainable trip on our platform for buses and trains. The website also has a responsive mobile version which can also be used to conduct the same services that can be done on a desktop or similar The company has also managed to test the current MVP with many prospecting customers from Asia and Europe, and had a successful pitch during the KTH Demo day where over 300 participants had joined on zoom
Approach and implementation
Development of the business plan set out with Vinnova was largely smooth as the main team had the core competence to execute most of the deliverables. The management of stakeholders (KTH Innovations, Almi and other business partners) and consultancies went well, allowing us to extend our company runway and develop a much improved web prototype. Development areas: 1. Tech expertise - Needs to be developed in-house and less reliant on exernal consultancies 2. Funding - Financial support from Vinnova was ample but however not enough to complete the business goals we set over the year
