Important results from the project
The objectives of INSIDE is 1) develop the project manager (VF) scientific expertise to primarily associate professor during the project period, and 2) to establish cooperation between the two participating research environments HIS and KAU. 1) VF received a docent in Oct. 2015. 2) VF has been a guest researcher at KAU signifying including participation in the research project NDHC and co-supervisor for two PhD students. In addition there is ongoing work on project applications and publications. Goal achievement for objectives 1 and 2 will considered to be fulfilled.
Expected long term effects
The following project activities have generated the following results. Publications: 17 conference papers, 4 journal papers of which 1 accepted but not yet published. Research supervision: Main supervisor 2, co-supervisor of 3 including 2 from the KAU. Supervisor Course: autumn 2012. Project applications: 10 applications have been submitted during the project period, 4 of which have been granted. Research projects/project management: In addition to the 4 projects approved 5 additional projects completed or in progress which KAU been involved in 4 and VF been project manager for 6.
Approach and implementation
Design and implementation has followed the original plan. VF has during the project period been at KAU two days per week. Cooperation with KAU has worked very well why also the project activities, set at the start of the project, in general also has been implemented with good results.
