Innovatum Startup

Purpose and goal

Innovatum Startup is a business incubator in Trollhättan established in 2003. Innovatum Startup is part of a science park missioned to broaden and strengthen the business community in west Sweden. Innovatum Startup works to ensure that future innovations and solutions have reach and a positive impact on society. The incubator has contributed to 150 startup companies. The incubators target groups are primarily located in Fyrbodal, but also support startups with a regional and national background, mainly within Innovatum Startup´s focus areas, space, blue economy and automotive.

Expected effects and result

Innovatum Startup´s operations will annually deliver results on screened business cases, admitted new startups, attracted financing, positive exits from the process and executed entrepreneurial activities, and thereby contribute to long-term effects such as increased entrepreneurship and more sustainable solutions and innovations that create growth in Sweden.

Planned approach and implementation

To achieve the goals of the mission as a business incubator, Innovatum Startup offers a dynamic work process that supports entrepreneurs and teams in the early stages of developing business ideas into growth companies with potential for an international market. This is done through business coaching, contacts to capital, opening doors to business networks and creating a social context with other entrepreneurs in a creative environment.
