Important results from the project

The aim was to Penny to meet entrepreneurs, university with its students and make connections with the Business Sweden in Vietnam for Penny´s long term goal to operate in the ASEAN region. During these few days we got the opportunity to do all this. However, a more substantial study on the business situation in Vietnam before we decide how and whether there is opportunity for Penny to act against Vietnam. Expected long term effects

We participated in Ho Chi Minh to create us the impression of the future opportunities establishing operations in Vietnam. We realize that it will not be possible in close time as we do not have the financial muscles for necessary lobbying to be able to operate in Vietnam. Already when we during the opening ceremony of Innovative Sweden were given the opportunity to present the company at the booth for a minister pronounced him that everything would be easier for Penny If a certain compensation paid directly to him, something he quickly pulled back when the Swedish Ambassador came to my side.

Approach and implementation

Penny took part in the opening of Innovative Sweden. The large press call-up and the number of generated articles we link to Vietnam´s government where the exhibition and the Swedish action in Vietnam always been regarded as great. The offer of Innovative Sweden exhibition has been refined over the years it toured. Now when the show was at its final location, it felt like we small business owners do not really only seen as a resource for the Swedish State but also given the opportunity to base for direct business. Hopefully the SI working with this model for future projects.
