Important results from the project
The aim of the project was to identify the market opportunities by finding matches between current markets and the products our innovative powder production process can produce. Additionally, we investigated the process production cost and legal and regulatory obstacles for the process and products.
Expected long term effects
We found that the process is most suited to produce semiconductor material in the form of dry powders. The process order of magnitude improvement over current industry processes lies in it´s zero CO2 emission and the highly controllable powder properties that allow us higher product efficiency by raw material used in production. Further, the process show great compatibility and synergy with certain type of electronic waste recycling. The effect of the project is to create new jobs and to reduce the negative environmental effects of the semiconductor industry.
Approach and implementation
Market research and verification of the process strength and weaknesses was carried out by interviewing experts on a global scale. The process production cost and production volumes etc. was measured. With the results of the project a sustainable business model was organized for the innovative powder production technology.
