Important results from the project
The goal of sending a request to stage 2 was reached. The project´s ultimate goal could not be met when we did not receive funding for step 2.
Expected long term effects
The project created two strong actor constellations with high commitment to implementation. Already during the initial study period started three sub-projects which will continue. Because lack of continued funding the university cannot contribute to the desired extent.
Approach and implementation
An actor who was present at the application stage 1 pulled out unfortunately due to lack of time. Instead we created a major actor constellation around an actor who was present at the first application. It clarified a great need and great potential for cooperation between sports clubs, university and other parties with an interest in the sports industry, with a particular focus on sports tourism. The application also included a project with Växjö municipality. Overall, we are happy with the Project execution.
