Important results from the project
The goal of the project was to participate in the Matchmaking Event in Sao Paulo, Brazil, to prospect partnership for the RISE Fiber Optics Group with SENAI institutes. Another goal was to visit SENAI Innovation Institute for Embedded Systems in Florianopolis, Brazil. Both goals were fulfilled and collaboration opportunities were discussed and started.
Expected long term effects
On the 16th of October, we had the visit of Adriano Lucheta in our facilities in Kista. We presented him the different research areas we work in and he showed real interest in collaborating with us in a mining related project. We are basically waiting for a suitable financial opportunity. Rogerio Carvalho introduced us to a Brazilian company interested on developing a dam monitoring solution. We are looking for a Swedish partner in this field and proper funding. Cyrille showed interested on measuring batteries and we have a Swedish company that might be interested as well.
