Important results from the project
The project renews Innovationsloopens development as a co-operative force in close collaboration with Sliperiet, Umeå University, with a new type of open-ended demonstrator / prototype / development laboratory.The project was implemented according to project plan with initial contacts that resulted in three pilot experiments with a mobile makerspace - including a fablab and a forecaster in accordance with the Innovation Loop process model. - A summary and design-oriented workshop was conducted - the results were various possible reinforcements of the basic process model.
Expected long term effects
Pilot trials in the three pilot municipalities Norsjö, Vilhelmina and Storuman attracted a total of about 300 people with a majority of young people - but also corporate public and retirees participated. In a summary workshop involving participants from all pilotes participated. The results emphasized the need for a new type of skills delivery, capable of preparing participants for the digital transformation that is now taking place in all sectors of society. In particular, Innovationspark Norr´s importance was emphasized to revitalize the quality of rural school education.
Approach and implementation
Initial meetings in various sparsely populated municipalities and Pilot projects in three municipalities with a summary design-oriented workshop. A mobile makerspace - included a fablab and a forecaster in accordance with Innovationsloopens process model.Pilot projects and summary workshops indicate the need for a new type of skills delivery, capable of preparing participants for the digital transformation that is now taking place in all sectors of society. In particular, Innovation Park Norr´s importance was emphasized to revitalize the quality of rural school education.
