Important results from the project
The project has carried out tests in three municipalities, three municipal management groups. The concept has been perceived to be attractive and in a short time gained insights and skills about innovation management that can be used in the daily assignment. The tests have resulted in a revised concept. SKL has experience of how a limited management support can look.
Expected long term effects
Participants´ judgment is mostly positive. The majority have used new methods for planning and management. They intend to continue testing new ways of working in the same way. A wish for follow-up and continued coaching is in the groups.
Approach and implementation
The process contributed to new experiences and insights. Participants appreciated the basic structure of experience-based learning. The central lesson learned from the test period is that the participants had not had the ability to manage the problem-understanding phase themselves. The evaluation shows that they need guidance in the art to question and reflect on the problem they face.
