Important results from the project
Attractiveness has become an important area to develop and discuss national, regional and local policies. Development of innovative environments for increased Swedish appeal considered by several agencies, among others Business Sweden Several of the recommendations and their development in frontier pilots have been realized mainly for the computer game industry and the development of local free zones demo environments for buildings and smart homes Municipalities utilize the report on attractiveness.
Expected long term effects
Appeals against the establishment of companies, skills and knowledge, and equity is an important parameter in political decisions and public investments Attractive innovative environments evolve with the critical mass of capital, expertise, knowledge and contacts in Sweden. International collaborations developed between innovative environments. Innovative environments manage to establish cooperation between large companies, SMEs and start-ups to develop new products and business models and to utilize opportunities in digitization, globalization and sustainability.
Approach and implementation
Sweden´s need for developed competitiveness was identified in seven areas, which also took into account external factor the challenges and opportunities. Then manned the steering committee on the basis of competence needs and community dynamics, to produce analyzes and recommendations. Lace Pilots (as process) was developed to develop future innovative attractive environments. 40 people were selected to participate in each tip of the pilot. Meetings held regularly with the parliamentary parties in order to generate interest and to present recommendations and public seminars
