Purpose and goal

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** Innovation accelerators aim to systematize and strengthen cooperation between regions and medical technology companies. Furthermore, the healthcare´s knowledge and experience must be better utilized and used to on the individual region´s own term strengthen its role as an engine for the implementation of innovative methods and products. This 2.0 phase of the project will further consolidate and spread the working methods that have been shown to be successful in each region.

Expected effects and result

More sustainable medical technology innovations made available to healthcare and care. 3. Increased competitiveness of medical technology companies operating in Sweden. 4. Swedish SME:s remain and grows in the Swedish market.

Planned approach and implementation

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** All existing participating regions (the "accelerators") have or are in the process of submitting applications for the coming period and will, as before, manage the projects themselves and be responsible for the budget. The engines have formulated their own objectives that should strive to correspond to Medtech4Healh´s focus areas and objectives. Swedish Medtech will continue to be responsible for the following: coordination, dissemination of results across regional boundaries and support for exchange of experience.
