Important results from the project
The project has developed a model for innovation projects in healthcare, focusing on early phases and complex challenges. The model is aligned with VGR’s innovation process and has been tested through pilot projects. Through training, tools, and guidance, the project has created structures that strengthen collaboration between healthcare and industry. The results have been shared both regionally and nationally, contributing to a more systematic and sustainable innovation capacity in healthcare.
Expected long term effects
The project has contributed to long-term impact by strengthening healthcare’s ability to collaborate with industry. Through practical examples, training, and the dissemination of working methods, the project has laid the foundation for continued innovation development. The results live on through the work of the Innovation Platform and have already been applied beyond the scope of the project.
Approach and implementation
The project largely followed the original plan. The model was developed through three pilots, using an agile approach focused on testing, learning, and adapting. The timeline was mostly kept, with some adjustments based on organizational conditions. Project teams were smaller than planned for efficiency, and support functions contributed as needed. A challenge was healthcare’s limited capacity to allocate time and resources.
