Important results from the project
Innovationcapacity in municipalities has been run by SKR in collaboration with eight municipalities during 2021 - 2022. The purpose was to give other municipalities the opportunity to increase their innovative capacity by making knowledge and learning examples from idea-hubs municipalities available. And by establishing processes for collegial learning. The purpose has primarily been achieved through digital knowledge exchanges where municipalities have had the opportunity to share and take part in others´ experiences of innovation work.
Expected long term effects
The project offered opportunities for collegial learning between municipalities. 10 digital exchanges have been completed. In the first four, roughly 100 people participated per occasion from around 50 municipalities. A group of 20-30 people participated in the subsequent exchanges. The participants are satisfied with the structure, content and the opportunity to hold a dialogue and get answers to their questions. In several cases, participation has led to deepened contacts and further exchanges between municipalities.
Approach and implementation
The project has been run by the project manager together with representatives from eight municipal partners. Activities were specified in a project plan and carried out during the period February 2021-May 2022. The main part of the project´s activities has consisted of digital knowledge exchanges where the project´s partners and other invited actors shared their experiences of innovation work. The target group for the exchanges was initially broad and then narrowed down to a smaller grouping. Follow-ups show great satisfaction with the activities carried out by the project.
