Important results from the project
The project Knowledge appropriation has been converted into three new projects: 2014-03076; 2014-03237; and 2014-03236 to which the remaining funding 948.000 is redirected. The objective with the project ´Knowledge appropriation´ has been to increase the appropriation of already existing knowledge within to knowledge areas at CBI: (a) ´Innovative business development´ and (b) ´Innovation Audits´. This has been undertaken by means of running a number of firm based projects and by development and ´packaging´ of add-on services to these two methods.
Expected long term effects
Sub proj 1: Auditing and packaging of add-on services: one audit has been performed. Packaging of add-on services related to the audit method has been performed. Sub proj 2:Method for business development: 6 projects have been run: Mindark; Know it e-commerce; SKF Business Consulting; Creo Dynamics; SCA Tena Solutions; Volvo Cars. Packaging of add-on services related to the method has been performed. The business development projects have had substantial impact and effect in the firms. The services have yet not been used in any systematic project.
Approach and implementation
The project has been organized in three sub projects. Two sub projects relate to running firm based projects according to CBI methodology and the subsequent packaging of add-on services related to these two methods (CBI knowledge areas). The firm based projects have used master students in the research teams whereas the packaging has been undertaken by CBI senior researchers.
