Status Ongoing
Venture The strategic innovation program InfraSweden
Call SIP InfraSweden: Increased circularity for the transport infrastructure

Purpose and goal

The project will clarify challenges and build knowledge around information management as well as implement IT and business solutions that can help Sweden achieve the goals for circularity in the lighting and construction industry. The project will show how AI and advanced system support increase information quality, reduce work with master data and contribute to circularity by providing buyers with the information they need to make data-driven decisions.

Expected effects and result

1. Streamline resource use and working time for actors in the lighting industry. 2. Show how master data, real-time information and control systems can work together to provide users with the information needed to make data-driven decisions. 3. Show manufacturers and suppliers how they can use AI in the creation of their master data. 4. Show how unique identities, labeling and traceability for individual products provide extended possibilities in maintenance. 5. Reduce the information gap that operators experience when purchasing, managing and maintaining lighting fixtures.

Planned approach and implementation

Through workshops, stakeholders will specify information needs. Next, software tools are developed, tested and evaluated in each of the focus areas: 1.Collect and create product and environmental information using AI 2.Data quality and validation using AI, standards and user guidance 3.Data carriers and information sharing 4.Share information between actors via standardized information networks 5. Visualization of product and environmental information for data-driven decisions 6. Traceability and unique product individual identities 7. Looking ahead and GAP analysis
