Important results from the project
The purpose of the project is to develop the innovation process for blue-green solutions in an urban environment by enabling an increased implementation of blue-green solutions on the market and to ensure long-term development and cooperation. In order to contribute to a wider implementation of efficient products and services, the project´s objective has been to increase understanding among the owners of needs about opportunities to implement blue-green solutions in urban environments and to increase knowledge exchange between sectors and actors.
Expected long term effects
The project has resulted in a collaboration between the project parties and external actors which has resulted in a clearer picture of the status for the implementation of blue-green solutions. The project has investigated obstacles and opportunities, mapped solutions and actors, evaluated solutions and created tools, methods and concepts to enable faster implementation of blue-green solutions in the sustainable city. The results have been widely disseminated and are expected to have the desired effect. https://demo.bluegreencitylab.se/
Approach and implementation
The project has integrated four work packages internationalisation, needs owner dialogue, supplier dialogue, and market dialogue to increase the implementation of functional blue-green solutions in the sustainable and resilient city. Through the development of the Blue-green system guide and the Urban landscape lab, the project has led to an increase in knowledge and dissemination in order to achieve faster implementation. The project has led to extensive collaboration and competence transfer between actors internally and externally.
