Important results from the project

Incheck is developed in five phases, where we completed phase 1 as a feasibility study. The goal of Phase 1 was to conduct market research & needs analysis, develop a business model, implement basic design of architecture & user experience, and produce a first demo version of Incheck. The purpose of Phase 1 was to understand details of needs and lay the foundation for a technically and economically scalable solution. The purpose of Phase 1 has largely been met. There is some uncertainty about the price model and the business model.

Expected long term effects

The deliverables in phase 1 have been used to show key players how Incheck will work. This way, we wanted key players among our target groups to see the benefit & express willingness to participate in Incheck´s realization in coming phases. Key players in our target groups have understood the benefits of Incheck. But the desire to participate in Incheck´s realization varies. Private actors have shown a greater willingness than public. The further down an actor is in the supply chain, the greater the interest in Incheck. One private actor has shown interest in participating more actively.

Approach and implementation

In order to build an understanding among our target groups about Incheck´s functionality and benefit, we used an iterative approach where we, in cooperation with the stakeholders, would go from abstract vision to concrete solution. The method has been good for our own understanding of how Incheck needs to work. But the time required from actors to participate in evaluations of functionality and user experience is not prioritized when we do not have a system in operation with real data to discuss around.
