Important results from the project

The goals of the project have mainly been fulfilled and systems that in real time can verify gas mixtures inside sealed packages in production lines have been developed, and production partners as well as market partners have been established. The company´s competence with regard to automatized in-line gas measurements has enhanced, probably to a world-leading level, and several new patent applications have resulted from the project.

Expected long term effects

The project results with regard to technology and enhanced competence are well and are expected to bring the company to a new phase with a whole new family of products. The assumed effect is a new market and expansion for the company.

Approach and implementation

From a wider perspective, the project has followed the plan fairly well, though a couple of changes of the plans during the time of the project. Project goals and purposes have mainly been fulfilled. The most prominent deviation relates to the project lead time, where the project has been extended a couple of times. With regard to effective worked time and with regard to total expenses, the project has slightly exceeded plan. (By approximately 6 % in time and 14 % in expenses.)
