Purpose and goal
The aim of the project is to investigate which adaptations of the health care process are required to implement a digital tool for cognitive screening for patients with exhaustion disorder at the Stress Rehabilitation Clinic, Region Västerbotten in a resource efficient way. Resource efficiency in this context means that the health care process should be sustainable for both the health care organization and the staff. The project also aims to evaluate the usability and potential benefits of digital cognitive screening, from both a patient and caregiver perspective.
Expected effects and result
By the end of the project, we expect that (1) a needs analysis has been carried out to investigate which adaptations of the care process are required to implement digital cognitive screening at the clinic, (2) based on identified needs, create routines to implement and continuously evaluate the implementation process, and (3) evaluate the usability and potential benefits of digital cognitive screening for patients and health care staff. The project is expected to contribute to improved assessment and rehabilitation of stress-related illness.
Planned approach and implementation
The project´s steering group will work together with a reference group consisting of representatives from the different professional categories working at the clinic. WP-1: Carry out a needs analysis and create routines for the implementation of digital cognitive screening. WP-2: Implementation of cognitive screening. Continuous evaluation and adjustment of routines. WP-3: Interviews to evaluate patients´ experiences of digital cognitive screening. Workshop with steering group, reference group and other staff to evaluate the implementation process.
