Important results from the project
The innovation office at Uppsala University has with funding from the VFT1 program helped researchers, PhD students and undergraduates to assess the commercial potential in ideas generated at the university. Funded projects has received coaching to increase potential to reach the market.
Expected long term effects
Projects have been better prepared for the validation process to come. Projects with VFT1-funding are put in contact with presumptive customers and other stakeholders in the value chain. We can together with the researchers offer a step-by-step funding to increase early risk elimination.
Approach and implementation
VFT1-funding has been offered to projects in order to understand issues relating to market and technical requirements. These issues have been identified as a collaboration between the researcher and a/or several business coaches and external consultants. Researches enrolled in the VFT1-programe are invited to present their project in a value creation forum (VCF) to sharpen the project and gain deeper understanding.
