Purpose and goal
IK Fyrklöverns Verification provides support for researchers, students and other employees at our four universities. Access to Verification means is a prerequisite for being able to verify innovative ideas generated at our universities and thus contribute to more knowledge assets benefiting society for increased welfare and sustainable growth. During this year we will: Have more deeptech cases that succeed (lower ambition due to low funding allocation in the project) Increased proportion of women who apply for and are granted verification funds and support
Expected effects and result
We hope to achieve results on par with previous years, but it will be challenging due reduced funds we have been allocated. We will increase the focus on support for ideas within deeptech, but as these require greater verification efforts to reach the market, we will have to prioritize between continued support for deeptech ideas that have already come further in the verification process and supporting new deeptech ideas. We have already started more systematic work to identify the factors that lead to a more inclusive verification process, not least regarding gender equality.
Planned approach and implementation
Our Verification Council has weekly decision meetings so that we do not lose what has long been one of our strengths: Verification support in close dialogue with idea owners and other stakeholders and where verification funds are usually given in smaller amounts for each verification activity. Our joint CRM system supports our verification process and will be developed in 2024 for increased support and follow-up of deeptech project. For deeptech ideas, we will work even more together with other IKs.
