Purpose and goal

Ignite Sweden is Sweden´s national program for collaborative projects between established companies, the public sector and innovative SMEs and startups. We work to commercialise innovative startups´ ideas and utilize research results by introducing these to relevant customers for market verification, validation and business. Over the next three years, Ignite Sweden Accelerate will assist 300 innovative SMEs per year with relevant customer meetings and coaching of the business.

Expected effects and result

At least 300 Swedish startups and scale-ups will have business meetings through Ignite By developing support for business tailoring, more pilots between large and small will be developed into scalable businesses All business Ignite leads to must also be reported in the income statement regarding the global goals At least four new incubators / SCP must work with Ignite´s methodology per year Participating municipalities must have a methodology for commercial collaborations with startups

Planned approach and implementation

The project will: - develop method for business development of business between startups and need owners - develop a method for the public sector to collaborate with startups on a commercial basis - spread method and models to more incubators and science parks - help startups meet international customers and seek collaboration between Ignites incubators and international innovation environments - explore the potential of AI in the matchmaking process
