Important results from the project
600 elderly people have received knowledge of the purpose of the project, 20 health technology companies are connected to the project. During the pilot study, 60 home care staff with increased knowledge about the project, its purpose and has visited the demonstration apartment. We have about 50 people in ordinary housing who have applied to be our test pilots. Concepts for mobile viewing environment developed and will be implemented shortly. The feasibility study has involved in-depth collaboration with stakeholders in the project and with other ongoing innovation projects.
Expected long term effects
Based on the goals, there is now a sustainable collaborative organization with a group of actors from our target group, companies, various municipal departments, municipal buildings and academia. The aim is to jointly work on a co-funded testbed environment in stage two and three of the next full application. The aim is to develop a business with a focus on supporting our target audience and at the same time increasing cooperation between municipalities / counties and academia, increasing the innovative energy of our people, and encourage economic growth in the region.
Approach and implementation
The success factors in this project have been interdisciplinary meetings with companies, to parallel interface with ´Brave ideas´ aimed across the municipal group foster an innovation culture to enable innovative processes and increase the understanding and willingness of the public to have a opinion. The challenge ahead is about looking sharper on the innovative processes to be linked to our procurement system. We need to continue to work long-term to improve our client role and communication with the public, people with ideas and companies.
