Important results from the project
The purpose of the pre study was to compile a complete project proposal and apply to Vinnova´s BioInnovation call directed at energy and chemicals. The project to be applied for s aimed at the HTL process, hydrothermal liquefaction, for a variety of raw materials with the aim to producing bio oils that can be used as fuel oil or upgraded to fuels or chemicals. The project proposal was compiled together with the partners involved and additional partners who joined in on the project idea during the span of the project.
Expected long term effects
The project resulted in joining in total 8 partners in a project proposal including a valuechain from starting materials through end users.
Approach and implementation
The project was conducted by gathering the involved partners both in meetings and via email and telephone conferences. The partners also took part in 3-4 workshops to align with the coordination project and gather the subprojects to an entirety.
