Important results from the project

The project´s purpose was to reach the market. Ensure that customers and users are aware that there is now a manual hoist, for transfer of person, developed for public bathing areas and marinas. We also wanted to enable for customers to test it. This should be achieved by manufacturing a first zero series of 6 hoists and put out these in suitable places in Sweden in collaboration with DHR. The result was very good as the project resulted in sale a of 11 hoists already in 2023, winning one public procurement, several tenders and media publicity.

Expected long term effects

The project should result in that the personal hoist for transfer of person- Funka, becoming known on the market and the expected effect was that customers would show interest in the hoist. The outcome was very good as the hoist was well received by the market and already in 2023 11 hoists were sold, several tenders were sent and the hoist received media publicity.

Approach and implementation

1/ Manufacture of 6 hoists in zero series. 2/ Production of logistics chain and reusable transport boxes 3/ Production of instructional film and manual 4/ Customer meetings/ demonstrations 5/ Compilation and evaluation of project as a whole Analysis: Activities completed according to plan with good result. Minor changes: 1/ Logistics chain- instructions to customer that enable the customer to do their own service instead of manufacturing transport boxes 2/ Instructional film: Production of 2 instructional films (one for bath and one for boat) because instructions for these differ.
