Important results from the project
Health4all aimed to create conditions for large-scale transformations in healthcare innovation by optimizing the development, testing, and implementation of new research, technologies, processes, and organizational structures in highly specialized care, for the benefit of patients, and to identify preventive health measures. Through workshops, the project has developed a foundation for an application titled ´Sustainable Health with Precision´ for Impact Innovation, with a formulated mission, proposed program structure, and national and international networks.
Expected long term effects
The project´s results are aligned with the original plan. Numerous missions were developed, along with proposals for the structure of a program office, forming the basis for the program application submitted alongside two other feasibility studies. The network that has emerged from these activities is also a lasting result. The program office will lead to improved and more precise healthcare for patients and to make Sweden a competitive country for the development of new products and solutions that attract investments and clinical studies, thereby creating job opportunities.
Approach and implementation
Focus has been on defining missions and ensuring the contribution from all stakeholders. Therefore, great emphasis was placed on mobilization through open digital meetings and workshops from the beginning. Subsequently, more specific open meetings were organized within the framework of various work packages to meet the objectives. Towards the end of the project, the collaborative efforts contributed to proposals for missions, structure, and functions for a program office, as well as a list of relevant international actors that formed the basis for the final application.
