Important results from the project
The purpose of the project was to complete the development of the Health Innovation Platform (HIP.se) in order for developers to quickly create new services and retrieve information from the county council´s journal system through the national service platform. The goal was to create new innovative e-services as HOPE Solution supported by the HIP innovation platform. The goals have been fulfilled through deliveries in all areas (completion of HIP.se, implementation of HIP Forum and development of new e-services) according to expected results and within the given timeframe.
Expected long term effects
The result consists of several sub-deliveries: 1) development and production of the innovation platform Health Innovation Platform, HIP.se, 2) implementation of the HIP Forum, 3) innovative e-services as HOPE Solution developed, tested and presently tested and piloted. Communication materials and marketing activities have described the use and benefits of the platform. Overall, the project has laid the foundation for e-health innovation nationally. New e-services have been developed that increase patient involvement and help to streamline healthcare processes.
Approach and implementation
The project has been implemented in close collaboration between IT companies / innovation actors, county councils, patient associations, entrepreneurs, universities and architectural experts. A total of 34 project partners have participated. The work has been carried out in four subdivisions: a) development, testing, evaluation, documentation and information regarding HIP; b) creation and implementation of the HIP Forum; c) development and testing of new e-services as HOPE Solution. The project has submitted an application to Horizon 2020 and obtained "Seal of Excellence".
