Important results from the project
The purpose of the project has been to investigate the most appropriate digital play and game concepts in order to develop a unique product that involves both children and parents in a meaningful interaction in a way that doesn´t exist on the market today. The work has progressed well according to the plan and we have succeeded in completing all of the planned activities which has resulted in very valuable data, analyses and conclusions.
Expected long term effects
- As expected there is an interest among children and their parents to be able to play and socialise together asynchronously in a virtual world. - We have established discussions with a few of the biggest distribution platforms to forge out a sustainable revenue model which will work both for the consumers and for us as a developer. - We have finalised an advanced prototype which is now being tested and giving us continuous data to study and draw conclusions from for the next development stage.
Approach and implementation
The various activities in the project have run in parallell which has made it possible for us to progress relatively fast, all according to current agile methodology. During our work process the data and all the conclusions have been fed back to the prototype development to continuously tweak the user experience accordingly. We will apply this methodology in the next development stages.
