Important results from the project
Urbanization is a prerequisite for continued economic growth. The accompanying densification and increased use of paved surfaces leads to flooding, less water filtration, declining trees and global warming. The project mainly aims to minimize the negative consequences and make urban environment more prepared for climate changes, e.g. more intense rainfalls and increased temperatures, by creating durable, functional and attractive paving surfaces coexisting with green areas.
