Important results from the project
The aim is to gain knowledge on value improvement and cost decrease by environmental strategies and actions within the production system for manufacturing industry.
Expected long term effects
Identification of environmental parameters of a production system, visualization tools, environmental KPIs for the production system, efficient/simplified LCA and guidelines for value improvement and cost decrease including also support for energy savings within the system. Industrial implementation of results, building of a new consortium, academic publications and examinations.
Approach and implementation
4 Work Packages: WP1: Set preconditions and frames of a green production system. WP2: Visualization of environmental impact and added value. WP3: Development and implementation of tools for green control and management. WP4: Development and guidelines for environmental value improvement and cost decrease.
