Important results from the project
The purpose of the Innovation program (Innovation strategy) is to increase the City of Gothenburg’s innovation capacity, both internally, within the organization, and in collaboration with others. The project Go:innovation contributes to the program by focusing on the development of both structure and culture of innovation.
Expected long term effects
The innovation capacity in the city has been increased. Some key results are the innovation program/strategy and an associated action plan, an established organization, methods and tools for innovation, increased knowledge and skills about innovation and an initiated change towards an innovative organizational culture.
Approach and implementation
The project manager for Go: innovation has also been the program manager for Gothenburg City´s innovation program/strategy. The working methods have been agile and the focus has been partly on integrating innovation into the existing structure, on the development of structure and culture and the work has been done in broad collaboration, with much communication and wide involvement in the processes.
