Purpose and goal
Support visits by Prof. Pankaj Jalote from IIIT-Delhi to MDU to perform collaborative research on usage of Generative AI for different phases of Software Engineering
Expected effects and result
- Knowledge transfer between IIIT-D and MDU - Shared supervison of student projects - Establishment of Long-term collaboration via projects and future staff exchanges between MDU and IIIT-D. - Seminars for knowledge dissemination and potential publications
Planned approach and implementation
During exchange visits, Prof. Jalote will collaborate with Prof. Sasikumar Punnekkat and other researchers at School of Design and Innovation at MDU. GAISE Project will investigate research and educational aspects related to usage of LLMs in Software lifecycle management, Requirements generation and validation, Quality of the generated code, Design validation, Software Testing, and Formal verification.
