Purpose and goal
The purpose of the project is to develop a flexible pilot plant for electrolytic coating with the possibility of small-scale production of one or more of the graphene-based processes Provexa Technology is currently developing. Nothing explains the benefit of a process or product better than a good demonstrator.
Expected effects and result
The result of a successful project will contribute to reduced climate impact by strengthening Swedish industry in the transition to an electricity-based society. The coatings themselves also contribute to a sustainable society by using environmentally friendly production processes. At the same time, local skills development is promoted, which can lead to stronger international competitiveness.
Planned approach and implementation
The main part of the project consists of the development of a pilot plant for electrolytic coating (design, installation and business development). In addition, two parts of research are included; development of methods for measuring graphene content in production baths, and functionalization of graphene for specific applications. Product and process verification are other activities, as well as communication of the project´s progress to graphene actors and adequate industry.
