Important results from the project

The aim has been to gain an understanding of possible events. obstacles to implementing Future City Flow internationally; technical, regulatory or other obstacles. The aim has been to increase knowledge of the selected markets and identify international partners who can contribute to the faster establishment of Future City Flow in an international market. The project has led to in-depth knowledge of Canadian, Nordic, Czech, Australian and new Zealand market. International partnerships have been formed with actors in Norway, Australia and Nya Zeeland.

Expected long term effects

Increased knowledge of important international markets, the result of the feasibility study is five Letters of Intent (LoT) with actors willing to enter into partnerships in the next step FCF in international environments. Three of these LoT are expected to lead to concrete Project. A Norwegian actor has joined as a partner in the UDI step 3- proposal and central actors from Nya Zeeland and Australia join as partners in Go Global Implementering-application. Several of the visited players are now following the development of FCF and are ready to buy the solution when it is available.

Approach and implementation

During the project period, physical visits to key needs owners in the identified markets were prioritized, which was combined with participation in important conferences such as the Smart Water System conference in London and Nanjing Water Summit in China. Developed communication material was an important prerequisite for the success of international activities, so at the beginning of the project a great job was spent on developing existing communication material and producing a film for FCF. Analysis of the information gathered from meetings concluded the project.
