Important results from the project
The goals of progressing from prototype to finished product and initiating sales were achieved, though delivery targets were delayed due to electronics production issues. We now have a customer base, an improved product, and insights into selling to the public sector. The project has also enabled expansion into England and Norway and laid the foundation for a skilled team. We have developed new revenue streams through workshops and established international contacts that support future growth.
Expected long term effects
We now have a market-ready product and a customer base, providing a solid foundation for continued growth. With our own developed electronics and software, we can freely adapt the product to customer needs without external constraints. The project has laid the groundwork for building a strong team and provided us with valuable knowledge in the product development process. We have started exporting to England and Norway, which will facilitate expansion to more countries in the long term.
Approach and implementation
We started by mapping needs, allocating the budget, and finding good suppliers/partners. With new financial conditions, we were now able to make the team more efficient. We worked with the physical product development in a workshop. During the year, we attended fairs and conferences, which has led to a customer database. We have had challenges with the production of electronic components, had to deal with delays and learned to work creatively to satisfy customers under time pressure.
