Important results from the project
The aim of this project is to verify Ekobalans process for the selective extraction of nutrients from sludge and digestate in terms of function, sustainability, and profitability. The studies will be carried out at Ekobalans pilot facility in Helsingborg, Sweden and as lab studies. EkoBalans business idea is to offer solutions for the handling of rest products and refinement into high quality fertilizers. Recycling of nutrients from rest products is an important piece of the puzzle to close the nutrient cycles and create sustainbale agriculture and forestry.
