Important results from the project
The overall aim of the contest is to stimulate the development of need-driven innovations within the agricultural sector as well as to promote the use of testbeds in the developing and verifying steps of the process. Our specific aim, based on the above, is to guide the winning innovator in such a manner that her or his innovation is immidiately accepted by the users and thereby can contribute to an increased environmental benefit within the agricultural sector, nationally as well as globally. The goals originally expressed for the initial planning phase has been reached.
Expected long term effects
The effects originally wanted from the planning phase was: a defined challenge within sustainability; to reach the right stakeholders and to create a well-defined communications strategy, internally, within the project group as well as externally, towards the stakeholders. These results and their expected effects have been accomplished. Beyond this, we also expect that the ideas, which our jury assesses as viable, will influence traditional agriculture towards a more sustainble direction, where the material exchange towards biobased raw materials is a first step.
Approach and implementation
The project’s planning phase has been conducted in a way that has created more synergies between the stakeholders than first expected, which has added a positive effect to the roadmap of the overall project. With the current set-up of stakeholders and project parties, there are, from our point of view, very good preconditions for a successful implementation of the coming phases of the project.
