Important results from the project
Framvik has met its goals of identifying partners in the US for XR for war veterans, as well as technology development for voice-controlled scenarios. We have also created good contacts to establish ourselves in the American market.
Expected long term effects
Framvik sees great potential to establish itself in the American market in several different areas related to XR. In addition to the treatment of war veterans and training for employees and relatives who encounter war veterans, we also see areas within the so-called first responder (police, fire department, correctional services, etc.) as an obvious potential market. Future collaborations can have positive effects on the development of Framvik´s already well-functioning technical platform.
Approach and implementation
The project followed the established plan, but in terms of time it was possible to shorten the plan thanks to great commitment from all involved. Thanks to good preparations in Sweden before the visit to California, a series of activities were carried out between December 2 and 13. After that, the work intensified and the contact with American partners was solid, which provides the best conditions for future cooperation. Nothing unexpected occurred.
