Important results from the project
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The goal was to map and analyze key factors that catalyzed and enabled fossil-free steel production in Sweden. The project focused on changes in mindset, organization and "change agents" that contributed to the hydrogen reduction´s implementation. A report, which describes actors, key events and challenges in the steel industry over the past decade, is under development. The model highlights relevant factors for other industries facing environmental challenges linked to climate, biodiversity and waste.
Expected long term effects
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The theoretical model used highlights several factors that should be relevant also to other industries that are under pressure due to the environmental consequences of their current practices, particularly linked to climate change, biodiversity loss and waste.
Approach and implementation
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project was based on an analytical theoretical framework on transformational change and was carried out in collaboration with a reference group of experts. The data sources are primarily extensive interviews (a total of 21) and workshops with experts. The project has also included a literature study.
