Important results from the project
The purpose of Samtal för ett rikare Sverige was to increase courage and knowledge about contracts and collaborations between public sector actors and social enterprises in order to enable more people to participate in society. To achieve this, the goal was set to engage 200 people in ten discussion forums. During the project, we engaged 268 people in 14 discussion forums and one panel discussion. The insights from the project have been compiled in a digital portal, Inkluderaguiden.se, which has been spread to 5300 actors from the public sector, social enterprises and intermediaries.
Expected long term effects
To ensure the project moves in desired direction and to measure the participants’ development, results were continuously gathered and followed up. In total, the project has involved 268 participants from 55 municipalities around Sweden. Examples of results include public sector actors being 138% more likely to recommend entering a partnership. Knowledge about how to successfully enter into contracts has increased with 14% for social enterprises and 15% for public sector, and the desire to enter into contracts has increased with 8% for public sector and 4% for social enterprises.
Approach and implementation
In order to broaden Inkludera’s knowledge, a study was conducted with approximately 50 actors with experience of cross-sector collaboration. Subsequently, 14 discussion forums and one panel discussion, adapted to various themes (e.g. education, integration), were arranged to enable an exchange of experiences between public actors and social enterprises. The insights from these forums were then compiled on the website Inkluderaguiden (which among other things contains legal guidance for IOP, information about various contract forms, common success factors and challenges).
