Purpose and goal
The purpose is to create power to act, among a wide range of decision makers through a joint action plan for collective mobility in Ljustadalen - Sundsbruk. Through foresight methodology, current and future needs are visualized, co-created and communicated with the aim of realizing the action plan in a future phase. Competence-building around innovative methods and tools to collect insights and stories from target groups that are traditionally not reached through standard collection methods.
Expected effects and result
Based on dialogue & prototype, a joint action plan is created for the regional public transport authority Din tur´s development of traffic and mobility in the area, as well as Sundsvall municipality´s work to create an accessible and attractive area, with a mobility affluence and increased quality of life. By developing and spreading the project´s approach, we contribute to creating more inclusive and representative processes, where all voices are heard in the transition to a sustainable society
Planned approach and implementation
Exploring the target groups´ experiences of the area and mobility solutions. Identify trends, norms, signals about what the future may be and what drives it. The insights are transformed into a future scenario/prototype to push the boundaries of what the future can be and challenge existing norms around mobility. A scenario-driven dialogue between residents and actors leads forward to a common vision for future mobility. The vision is concretized in a joint action plan for future mobility.
