Important results from the project

FoodFighters creates a whole new way to shop for food. FoodFighters make it easy to make the right choices. We challenge and trigger users to become more sustainable consumers. In the moment and over time, as an individual and as a collective. It´s time to upgrade our lifestyle. For our planet and for our future. The goal was to develop a prototype of our environmental coach. The environmental coach helps the consumer change their behavior and to reduce the negative environmental impact their food consumption entails. Our results have been verified by RISE, test users and food chains.

Expected long term effects

The prototype of FoodFighters´ environmental coach is the first step towards giving all consumers access to the market´s best measurement methods to show climate impact from food. The combination of proprietary algorithms and RISE most granular data makes it a great tool for consumers to change their consumption behaviour. The partnership gives us the market´s strongest and most credible quality stamp. Sustainable societies require innovative solutions that make it easy to make the right choices. Our prototype can even make the choice of sustainable food for the consumer.

Approach and implementation

We applied a hypothesis-based approach and iterated between activities until we reached the final goal, a beta ready to launch to enable us to collect more extensive user data. The prototype will be used to reach a full-scale launch and to attract the venture capital needed to quickly expand to new markets. The four main activities were: 1) Ideation 2) Design 3) Implementation 4) Validation This explorative approach also led to the identification of alternative business models.
