Important results from the project

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** Food Radar sees a great need for microwave sensors for the detection of, for example, foreign objects with low density from our global customers in the food industry. In this project we have collaborated with researchers and doctoral students to find new ways to develop future microwave sensors for the food industry. primarily looked at the detection problem but we have looked at other types of sensors / algorithms that can broaden our range we can offer to the customer.

Expected long term effects

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** In this project we have investigated and together with Chalmers looked at new ways to create improved microwave sensors for the food industry. Based on the lessons we have learned through this collaboration, we can now better aim to develop and develop new sensors / algorithms that we can offer to our customers.

Approach and implementation

We have had a good approach where Chalmers researchers and doctoral students together with us have set up a plan for measurements and lab bridges to best measure relevant data that they can then use for their deeper studies. We have built these layouts and also collected in data globally from several of our existing customers. We have also conducted bachelor theses where we have received help with even more intensive measurement data collections. We have also on several occasions offered some of the students summer jobs to create a good knowledge transfer to us in the company.
