Important results from the project

FlexCharge aimed to develop and submit a competitive proposal with Swedish coordination for a chosen Horizon Europe call. To that point, the project has fulfilled its purpose fully and completely. The project has also realized its specific objectives of establishing partnerships with different actors in the e-mobility field in various European countries, including 4 Swedish partners in the international project, and forming an innovative and sustainable concept that inspires commitment from all partners involved to continue pursuing its achievement.

Expected long term effects

The FlexCharge project´s expected effect is to contribute to the advancement of e-mobility charging infrastructure while also creating synergies with the existing grid and other related infrastructure, focusing on the core goals of InfraSweden in achieving a sustainable transport infrastructure in the Scandinavian country by 2045. The project also resulted in strong collaborations between Swedish and other European countries that will boost the impact of the project further and carry on its efforts in encouraging international cooperation and synergic innovation.

Approach and implementation

The planning project is structured into an intensive four-month process with resource allocations from MG Sustainable Engineering AB and Emulate Energy AB. The planning project can be split into 3 work packages (WPs) with some overlaps between them. These WPs are: WP1- Concept development and fine tuning. WP2- Consortium building and coordination. WP3 - Technical description writing for the international proposal.
