Important results from the project
The project scope of Fast detection of antibiotic resistance in bacteria is to develop assays and instrumentation for rapid detection of antibiotic resistance in bacteria in order to prevent ineffective antibiotic prescriptions. The expected result from the project in a short to midterm perspective is for Q-linea to have 15% market share on the Swedish market within a year after project closure and 40% after five years. After introduction in Sweden, the method will be launched in the EU.
