The objectives with the current project was to increase collaboration between research and clinical practice, to generate new research questions and to initiate research project. The project has yielded several new and important contacts that will be important for continued and increased collaboration between research and clinical practice in the future. During the project period a meeting for members in a patient organization was arranged, where both researchers and staff from clinical practice participated. Discussions about future collaborations has also been initiated.

The project has generated several important contacts with clinically active persons, that will most likely lead to new collaborative research projects in the future. For the project leader, the project has contributed with an updated view on how the modern care and treatment for cardiac diseases is conducted, and staff from clinical practice has shown a great interest form my research. It has also been of high value to meet patients and members from a patient organization.
