Project duration May 2019 - October 2021
Status Completed

Important results from the project

The purpose was to continue where the previous collaborative projects between Sveriges IK ended and thereby further increase the efficiency of Swedish universities´ utilization of research and education through a peer-review process that addresses the entire value chain within the academic innovation system at both strategic and operational level.

Expected long term effects

The project has resulted in a even deeper collaboration between Sweden´s innovation offices and the development of a "Guide to excellent value chains" which together with the tools used in each work package has been published on the web and printed in physical copies. In addition, implementation of the lessons learned from the project has already taken place during the project period via distributed checks.

Approach and implementation

The project has consisted of a number of peer-review workshops in each work package. The first workshop established the topic and formed tasks for each participant, which was then presented and discussed at the subsequent workshop. In addition, after redistribution of funds and extension of the project in dialogue with VINNOVA, a number of implementation activities have been carried out by the participants in the project. The project´s workshops have been much appreciated due to its content and professional management and have thus formed the basis for the project´s results above.
